Australia’s Best Video Producers of 2019 Announced at Sydney Awards Presentation

Some of the country’s best professional video producers gathered in Sydney Tuesday night for the AIPP Australian Video Producers Awards (AVPA) – presented at a gala dinner at Randwick Ballroom, Randwick Racecourse, Sydney.

National President of the Australian Video Producers Rochelle Morris says this years’ awards, sponsored by Olympus, Panasonic and Sony were a huge success.

“This was our 4th year of running the awards and there were so many incredible entries”, Ms Morris said.

Ms Morris says the goal of the AVPA is to bring more work of talented Australian video producers into the limelight.

A total of 92 entries were submitted into the awards and of those, 22 were awarded silvers, 13 awarded silver distinctions, 15 awarded a gold and 4 awarded a gold distinction.

2019 AIPP Australian Video Producers Awards winners are:

  • 2019 AIPP Australian Professional Video Producer of the Year winner – Sponsored by Olympus – Abraham Joffe and Dom West
  • 2019 Commercial Australian Video Producer of the Year Award – Sponsored by Sony – Abraham Joffe and Dom West
  • 2019 Documentary Australian Video Producer of the Year Award – Sponsored by Olympus – Abraham Joffe
  • 2019 Wedding Australian Video Producer of the Year Award – Sponsored by Panasonic – Jared Kettle and Jacob Williams

About the Accredited Professional Video Producers of AIPP
The Accredited Professional Video Producers is a division of the AIPP. The AIPP is Australia’s leading professional photography membership body. Founded in 1963, the AIPP is a not-for-profit organisation run voluntarily for and by professional photographers, video producers and industry representatives, who seek to set a standard of excellence within the video and photographic industry.

The APVP objectives are:

  • To encourage and promote excellence in all areas of video production.
  • To guide the development and implementation of quality standards, guidelines and codes of conduct throughout the video production industry.
  • To provide our members with valuable information, resources and industry networking opportunities.
  • To act as an advocate for our members to ensure fair and equitable treatment by government and the private sector.
  • To provide a national forum that allows members to share knowledge and expertise.
