Exposure is one of the most critical components towards making a great image. Understanding how your camera measures light means that you will have greater control over exposure and be able to easily take better photographs in tricky lighting situations.
The seminar will cover:
Evaluative metering Vs Centre Weighted metering.
What is Spot metering and when and where we would use it.
Overriding the cameras metering control.
How using our cameras exposure lock can help.

Our in-house film experts unravel the mystery of shooting 35mm film! Take a walk over 36 exposures on this guided exploration of the streets and laneways of Melbourne. We will answer any questions you have about shooting film and give you a behind the scenes tour of our pro lab. You’ll be provided with a roll of film, and processing is included too! Don’t have a film camera? We can lend you one!

Join us for a fun-filled day shooting with a range of big Canon lenses on the plains of Werribee Open Range Zoo. This is your chance to try the brand new Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS II USM & Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM! Our guide will be Jay Collier from the Canon Collective who is a specialist wildlife photographer.
