MOBILE PHONES AND BEYOND: NEW WAYS AT LOOKING AT PHOTOGRAPHY
Packed with information and inspiration, a two day Head On Workshop with international rising star photographer Benjamin Lowy kicks off on 21 May. An outspoken advocate and leading edge practitioner in mobile phone photography for professional journalism, the multi-award winning Getty photographer began his career covering the Iraq War and those images were chosen by PDN News 30 as some of the most iconic of the 21st century. He is also noted for having the first TIME magazine cover using a mobile phone. In Sydney as a guest of the Head On Photo Festival, he will lead an intensive workshop on using innovative techniques and devices, narrative approaches to create timeless works and how to effectively engage social media while protecting your images. Suitable for anyone interested in creating masterful imagery, whether on mobile phone photography and beyond. Book here
