Exhibition of Nikon Photo Contest 2016-2017 Winning Entries Across Nine Major Cities Around the World
Tour schedule for the Nikon Photo Contest 2016-2017 Photo Exhibition is announced

AUSTRALIA – Nikon Australia announces a traveling exhibition of winners’ works from The Nikon Photo Contest 2016-2017.
The Nikon Photo Contest 2016-2017 exhibition, which has already begun in Japan, will make its way to nine major cities around the world, in countries including China, India, the Czech Republic, France and the United Kingdom.
This time, the Contest set its own new record in terms of the number of countries and regions from which works were submitted. The 2016-2017 year saw 76,356 entries, from a total of 21,511 people, representing 170 countries and regions around the world.
The winning entries for the top three awards – the Grand Prize, the Nikon 100th Anniversary Prize, and the Award for the Most Popular Entry – were selected and honoured at a ceremony on Thursday, July 27th 2017 at Tokyo’s Shinagawa Intercity Hall.

Visitors to the Exhibition will be able to view all of the Contest’s award-winning images, including those that won the Contest’s aforementioned top three awards.
The Nikon Photo Contest has been held since 1969 with the goal of providing the opportunity to professional and amateur photographers, all over the world, to express themselves through their images. Nikon will continue to contribute to the further cultivation of photographic culture through its future Photo Contests.
